MIAMI IRONSIDE Welcomes SmithDavidson Gallery

SmithDavidson Gallery at MIAMI IRONSIDE

SmithDavidson Gallery Official Opening at MIAMI IRONSIDE

SmithDavidson Gallery announces the opening of their gallery at MIAMI IRONSIDE situated in the historic Upper Eastside's neighborhood. Ironside is a vibrant, multidisciplinary urban center envisioned by developer and designer Ofer Mizrahi - composed of showrooms, studios, and co-working spaces that include a diverse group of architects, designers, boutique retailers, creative services and art galleries.

SmithDavidson Gallery features Modern and Contemporary Art. The international gallery was founded in 1969. The Amsterdam and Miami based SmithDavidson Gallery focuses primarily on paintings and photography.

Since 1990, the gallery has been headed by David Smith taking over after his father Leslie passed away, making him the second generation of Smiths to run the company. David’s reign over the past 25 years changed the gallery focus, moving from classic 19th Century Art into Impressionism, Modern and Contemporary Art. Giving praise to this evolution, the gallery adopted the name SmithDavidson Gallery in the spring of 2015.

The gallery has been in Amsterdam for three decades and a couple months ago and opened another space in the main courtyard of Ironside. The inaugural exhibition will be a group show showcasing an overview of the collection. More details of the opening reception will be sent out in the spring by invitation.
